Send in my BFF to the rescue! But, oh yeah, did I tell you? You have to move to Crestline, CA. The town that apparently NO ONE who lives in Southern California knows exists. Located in the San Bernardino Mountains. Population 10,770. Surrounded by towns with names like "Blue Jay". "Valley of Enchantment". Not kidding. (I have to raise my hand here and smugly say "I knew". I came up here for summers as a teenager. Hung out at the water slides at The Lake, where all the cute boys were). So I packed up and moved to the mountains. The place that I swore I would not, could not live... (will not, will not with a fox. Would not, could not in a box...)
Oh, I still commuted in to L.A. everyday. I was determined that I would move back in to civilization. Soon. Or I would perish.
God had other plans..
