Lake Gregory Community church is hosting a study of the book of James, using
Beth Moore's James Mercy Triumphs study book. This study has 5 levels of participation, and you choose your level. For some reason I'm doing level 5, which includes watching the videos, completing the homework, handwriting the Book of James, reading extra articles written by Beth's daughter, Melissa Moore Fitzpatrick and memorizing the Book of James. Yes, you read that right. The entire Book of James. Because doing all the other stuff just isn't enough. And because I am absolutely terrible at memorizing Bible verses. And lazy about it. I'll admit it. I do not take the time to commit God's Word to memory. Or put in the effort to committing it to memory. And then I claim I don't have the talent for it. LOL. How many of us do that, in so many different areas of our lives?
So I will share with you what I learn from James. About myself, about the Lord. And you can help me memorize the book along the way. So grab a cup of coffee, cause we're gonna be here a while...
